Ladakh may soon become a trekkers' paradise with the Defence Ministry giving its nod for throwing open over 100 peaks in restricted areas for mountaineers.
101 peaks in restricted areas will be thrown open for mountaineers and trekkers in Ladakh soon this year. In this regard, the Defence Ministry has already given its approval for starting trekking to these peaks
"Lakdah will also become a trekkers's paradise after the start of mountaineering to these peaks. It is already a top destination for foreigners. The opening up of the peaks would give a multi-fold economic boost to the state in the tourism sector," Jora said.
लडाखच्या प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्रातील १००हून अधिक शिखरे गिर्यारोहकांसाठी खुली करण्यास संरक्षण विभागाने परवानगी दिल्यामुळे लडाख आता ट्रेकर्स पॉईंट बनण्याची शक्यता आहे.
यावषीर् प्रतिबंधित क्षेत्रातील १०१ शिखरे माऊंटेनियर्स आणि ट्रेकर्ससाठी खुली होण्याची शक्यता आहे. या ठिकाणी ट्रेकिंगला परवानगी देण्यास संरक्षण विभागाची मान्यता मिळाली आहे, असे जम्मू काश्मीरचे पर्यटनमंत्री रिगझिन जोरा यांनी सांगितले. गृह मंत्रालयाच्या होकाराची प्रतिक्षा असल्याचे जोरा यांनी सांगितले. लडाख हे परदेशी पर्यटकांचे आवडते ठिकाण आहेत, त्याचबरोबर ही शिखरे खुली झाल्याने ट्रेकर्ससाठी ही आनंदाची बाब ठरेल. पर्यटकांचा ओघ वाढल्यास राज्याच्या पर्यटनाला आथिर्क बळ मिळेल, असे जोरा म्हणाले.
